Nadia Fares has written and directed several highly acclaimed films. Her first feature film "Honey and Ashes" received multiple awards and critical acclaim for its groundbreaking depiction of contemporary Arabic women.
Variety called it "edgy and intelligent".
She also has a background in documentary filmmaking where she has ventured into dangerous territories including going undercover to interview hitmen in Europe and a jihadist prisoner in Africa.
Nadia graduated from New York University, TISCH School of the Arts where she received her Master of fine Arts in Film and Television.
Currently, she is working on two features in the U.S. and two original series for international markets.
